Notes on building better software

The goal is solving real problems. Over the past few years, I’ve worked on building ERP systems, web applications, mobile apps, AI integrations, and automation tools. Every project has taught me something new. Not just about technology… But about users, scalability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This page isn’t going to be about showing perfect code. It’s about sharing the process of building. The wins. The challenges. The lessons. The products. If you’re passionate about software, AI, startups, or building useful technology, I’d love to connect and learn together. Let’s build something meaningful. — Build With Fasil

The internet is full of ideas. Products. Startups. Apps. AI tools. The difference isn’t who had the idea first. The difference is who kept building when nobody was watching. I’m a Full Stack Developer passionate about building scalable web applications, solving real-world problems, and continuously learning. Every project teaches something new. Every challenge makes you better. Still learning. Still building. Just getting started. What’s one project you’re proud of building?

They’re the ones who understand the problem before writing a single line. Over time, I realized something important. Writing code is a skill. But solving problems is a mindset. Before opening my IDE, I ask myself: • What problem am I solving? • Who will use this? • Can this be simpler? • Will it scale? The best solutions usually come from thinking first and coding second. That’s the mindset I’m working on every day. Still learning. Still building. What’s one lesson that changed the way you write software? — Build With Fasil

But not everyone writes code that’s easy to understand. One lesson I’ve learned as a software engineer is this: Good code isn’t measured by how clever it is. It’s measured by how easy it is for someone else to read, maintain, and improve. The best developers don’t write code for today. They write code that still makes sense months later. That’s the kind of engineer I’m working to become. Every project is an opportunity to write cleaner code, build better systems, and keep learning. What do you think makes code truly “good”? I’d love to hear your perspective. — Build With Fasil

Technology changes faster than ever. New frameworks. New AI tools. New programming languages. Trying to learn everything is impossible. Instead, I focus on building a strong foundation while continuously adapting to what’s next. Every project teaches me something new. Every challenge makes me a better engineer. For me, growth isn’t measured by how many technologies I know. It’s measured by how effectively I can solve real problems. I’m committed to improving—one project, one lesson, and one day at a time. What skill has had the biggest impact on your career this year? — Build With Fasil
